Levine Leichtman Capital Partners (“LLCP”), a leading U.S. middle market private equity firm has announced the launch of Levine Leichtman Capital Partners Europe, L.P., a newly-established €100 million investment fund dedicated to investing in Europe.

LLCP has been successfully investing in Europe since the opening of its London office in 2010. The firm recently appointed Mr. Wouter Snoeijers to manage LLCP’s Netherlands office and lead the firm’s origination and investing efforts throughout Europe. LLCP’s investment strategy provides a less dilutive alternative to traditional buyout equity and offers a better risk-adjusted return to investors through its structured equity investment approach.

“We are very excited about the launch of our dedicated European Investment Fund and believe this is the beginning of a long term commitment to continental Europe,” said Lauren B. Leichtman, co-founder and CEO of Levine Leichtman Capital Partners.

Ms. Leichtman added, “LLCP is ideally positioned in Europe to continue our strategy of providing capital to industry leading middle-market companies. The Fund is a natural extension of our platform and our investors will benefit from our 30-year track record of generating consistent and highly attractive risk-adjusted returns across many economic cycles.”

Prior to joining LLCP, Mr. Snoeijers was a director at PGGM, one of Europe’s largest institutional investors. He helped manage a EUR 2bn per-annum private equity investment program and served on the Private Equity Investment Committee. Prior to that, Mr. Snoeijers spent seven years at Permira, a European private equity investor, in various roles, including coverage of the Netherlands and Belgium.
